Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation | Review

This was the first foundation that I ever bought, so it is about time I reviewed it for you. Firstly I would just like to point out that the shade  I currently have this is in is too light for me, secondly I lost the lid to the bottle and the bottle is messy because of that.

I have repurchased this a few times because I really like it, for a while this was the only foundation that I would use, I loved it that much. I know that a lot of people rave about the 'Wake Me Up' foundation and I feel like this is overlooked.

This foundation gives a satin finish, it's not too dewy and it's not too matte. This foundation is designed to adapt to your skin tone and I would agree with that statement, it is a really natural foundation and if I get complimented on my skin it's normally this that I'm wearing.

This is nice for days when you don't want too much, I'd say that it's light to medium coverage but normally I only wear a small amount because I don't always feel like you need a lot. For days when I just want a little something, I use a little less then a pump of the foundation and it just evens out the skin tone, covers bits and bobs and feels nice and light. It is also buildable so it is a really nice foundation to have.

I'm currently not using this foundation because I have it in the wrong shade, now I need to go and get the right shade, I mean this is 4 shades too light. This has literally been sitting in my draw unloved because I can't wear it, it's way too light but I still wanted to review it for you guys because when I have it in the right colour it's great.

P.S. I didn't get the foundation in the wrong shade my friend bought it for me as a present in the lightest shade. I didn't all of a sudden think I was really pale, I didn't buy it, but for some reason I kept it.

I think this foundation is definitely good value for money and it is something that I'm sure I will continue to repurchase.

You can pick this up HERE for £6.99
